Youth Peace Summit was held in Okinawa for two days from November 1st through the 2nd . Youth Division members of Hiroshima, Okinawa and Nagasaki organized the summit. Among the participants were youth Division of the Chugoku Region@Chief Leader Hiroshi Ito, Young Women's Division Chief Leader Fumiko Takemoto, and Hiroshima Youth Peace Committee Chairman Toshifumi Kurihara.

Sunflower seeds, which were taken from sunflowers in Okinawa Training Center, were fostered from seeds given to the Okinawa Youth Division by Dr. krieger, director of Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. They were presented to Hiroshima Youth Division members by Okinawa members.
